<Huat’s Up Singapore> is a tongue-in-cheek trivia game that Singaporeans can challenge to see what type of lazy Singaporean they are!
A brief by Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), the aim is to engage Singaporean youths to be interested in the nation’s growth, history and heritage. Case studies and surveys show however, that many youths are disinterested, know little and/or are misinformed in topics relating to local politics and history. As listicles and social commentary through satire have been increasingly popular, the concept is a timed trivia game where its end goal is to kickstart the conversation amongst youths via this challenge and social media sharing.
